Dancers from the legendary dancer Yang Liping’s team performed at the Yangtze River Cultural and Artistic Season’s closing ceremony. The show, Phoenix's Ode to the Rising Sun, is a part of Yang’s dance drama Jingchu Impression which encapsulates the essence of Jingchu culture. Jingchu is the ancient name of Hubei Province. This vibrant display of tradition and art was a fitting finale to a season of cultural splendor along the Yangtze.
