Yichang launchs cultural and tourism recommendation activities

Yichang is holding the 14th China Yangtze River Three Gorges International Tourism Festival. Over 100 travel agencies and media experts have launched a cultural and tourism recommendation event that begins at the Three Gorges Indigenous Scenic Area.
Nestled amidst mountains and rivers, the Three Gorges Indigenous Scenic Area blends references to the ancient Ba & Chu cultures, the indigenous Tujia culture and the wartime resistance in the 1930s and 1940s. It offers a glimpse of traditional rural life, including the captivating wedding customs of the local Tujia ethnic group.
