16th Hubei Games conclude with "Glory and Dreams"

The closing ceremony of the 16th Hubei Games was held at the Yichang Olympic Sports Centre on Wednesday, featuring the theme "Glory and Dreams".
A total of 111 major events and 2108 minor events were divided into three categories: youth sports, mass sports, and social clubs.
Among the 30,000 participants, 135 athletes broke a total of 74 provincial records. For 104 of these athletes, their performances enabled them to reach national athlete level.
Results and awards were announced before the main torch tower of the Games was extinguished.
Xiaogan, a city of 4 million people about 80 km to the northwest of Wuhan, will host the next Hubei Provincial Games in 2026.
