Xiling Temple Fair

 

All over China, temple fairs are a traditional way to welcome the Chinese New Year! Yichang is no exception!

Snacks – such as sugar-coated haws – toys, games, craftwork... there are lots to do, buy and enjoy. Flower stalls are popular too. People buy azaleas, butterfly orchids, chimonanthus flowers and rhododendrons to decorate their houses for the Chinese New Year.
