The National Tourism Creators Summit

The National Tourism Creators Summit was held in Yichang on April 26. People from all over the country boarded cruise ships and toured the Yangtze River. The event set up an online Douyin (Chinese version of TikTok) challenge as a way to invite video bloggers to experience the local culture. It is shown through data that Yichang-related videos on the Douyin platform were played over 11.9 billion times in the past year.
