South African student joins Yichang’s Spring Festival celebrations

Halimah, a South African student studying at China Three Gorges University, has been looking forward to celebrating her second Spring Festival in Yichang.

At the Xiling Temple Fair, she took part in a traditional custom by writing down her wishes for the new year. She was captivated by the color ribbon dances and lively drumming that brought the celebration to life.

Halimah also visited the city’s 2025 Spring Festival Lantern Show, joining in the festive spirit with heartfelt greetings.
