First rare Yellow-breasted Bunting recorded in Zhijiang

During the recent autumn migratory bird survey in Zhijiang, a Yellow-breasted Bunting, a First-Grade State Protected animal, was recorded in the area for the first time. Additionally, seven species classified as Second-Grade State Protected animals were identified. The area around Zhijiang serves as a key migratory corridor for birds in western Hubei, with a large number of migratory birds passing through between September and November each year.
