Swimmers enjoy the Three Gorges Reservoir

Nearly 1,000 swimmers from 38 teams across China joined an event held between September 21 and 22 at the Three Gorges Reservoir. The 3,000 meter swim began from the Environmental Friendly Dock at Jianpengling and ended on Muyu Island. There was also an 800 meter race for those looking for something more competitive. During autumn, the Three Gorges Reservoir raises its water level to 175 meters, making it an ideal location to hold different water sports.
