Busy business at Baiyang Port

Yichang’s Baiyang Port is off to a good start in the New Year. In January alone, the major port handled 150,000 tonnes of cargo, up 100 percent year-on-year, and nearly 9,800 TEUs of containers, up 17 percent. Baiyang is one of three new key ports around the Three Gorges Dam, the other two being Maoping Port and Taipingxi Port.
