Qu Yuan's Hometown bustling with traditional performances

During this year’s Spring Festival, Qu Yuan's Hometown Scenic Area in Yichang saw an influx of tourists for the cultural and traditional activities around the Year of the Dragon theme.

Dragon dances, folk art troupe parades, bridal sedan chair parades and blessings from the God of Wealth attracted both residents and tourists alike.

Ms. Wang, a tourist from Hunan, had this to say about the event: "What I look forward to most during the Chinese New Year is the local folk culture. Today I felt the strong atmosphere of the festival at Qu Yuan's Hometown Scenic Area, especially with my children being able to experience the charm of traditional culture."
