Yidu-based artist Ai Daoxin and his trainees are busy making dragon-themed papercuts to mark the Year of the Dragon.
One of the works is a 38-meter-long scroll consisting of over 240 forms of the Chinese characters for "dragon" and "happiness," which took them more than a month to complete.
The traditional art of papercutting, much prized in China, was added to UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2009.
