Winter swimming in the Yangtze River

The 36th Yangtze River-crossing event was held yesterday in Yichang, along with the Hubei Provincial Open Water Swimming Championships and Yichang's 8th Yangtze River Winter Swimming Race.
The 1,240 participants from across China began at Lijiahe Village in Dianjun District and ended at Shuangting Plaza, Binjiang Park. They swam a total of 2,800-meters in 19°C （about 66℉）water.
