Zhimao Road surrounded by mist after rain fall

Zhimao Road is one of the most picturesque mountain roads of Yichang. Zigzagging through the ridges at 1,100 m altitude, passengers can feel like swimming in a sea of clouds, with the mist swirling around.
The 57 km road connects Jiuwanxi Town to the heart of Zigui County. The journey links many popular tourism destinations, including the Three Gorges Dam, Qu Yuan's birthplace, the Three Gorges Bamboo Sea, Zhilan Valley, Jiuwanxi rafting center, and the Three Gorges Indigenous Scenic Area.
