Three Gorges Dam welcomes this year’s 3 millionth visitor

On November 3, Ms. Liang from Shenzhen became the 3 millionth visitor to the Three Gorges Dam this year.
To commemorate the milestone, the tourism company presented Liang with an "Unlimited Access Card" providing free lifetime access to the Three Gorges Dam Tourism Area, along with a collection of souvenirs.
Featuring efficient water resource utilization, the dam project has played a key role in flood control and electricity generation along the Yangtze River basin. Generating electricity since 2003, the dam opened to the public in 2005.
