The newly opened Wulong Corner Park in Yichang City has welcomed in many visitors.
Covering an area of about 6,000 square meters, the park serves the surrounding three communities of over 20,000 residents. It has become a popular new spot for walking and cooling off in Yichang’s Dianjun District.
The park incorporates elements of Qu Yuan’s cultural legacy. The most eye-catching scenes in the park include the corner pavilions whose roofs resemble the shape of zongzi (glutinous rice dumplings) and benches modeled after dragon boats. As such, locals will often refer to it as “Zongzi Park.”
