Educational travel in Yichang on the rise

On July 3, 542 youths from Hong Kong and Macao arrived in Yichang for a two-day study tour at the Three Gorges Dam and Qu Yuan's hometown.
From July 10 to 11, two groups of children and teenagers from "The World is a Textbook" study tour of SCO visited the Three Gorges Dam tourist area. These two batches totaled more than 1,000.
Organized by Educational Work Union of SCO countries’ Trade and Economic Multifunctional Platform, the "The World is a Textbook" study tour is open to young people aged 10 to 14 from the nine SCO member countries, as well as some observer and dialogue partner countries. The study tour includes 10 batches this July, with the first stop at Three Gorges in Yichang, and is expected to involve a total of 3,500 students and parents.
