Railroad to Maoping Port

A 40-kilometer-long railroad to Maoping Port of the Three Gorges Hub is under construction in Zigui County, Yichang City.
The railroad connects Maoping Port to the main urban area of Yichang, enabling efficient transportation of goods coming by waterway from the upstream of the Yangtze River to all across China via rail.
As an important part of the Yangtze River comprehensive transit system, the rail line is expected to improve the speed and efficiency of cargo through the Three Gorges Hub.
