"The Three Gorges Festival" to premier on June 21

China's first Three Gorges-themed immersive play "The Three Gorges Festival" will premier on June 21 at the Yichang Wuyi Theater.
Incorporating Yichang's regional cultural features, the play includes scenes of folk legends among an immersive recreation of the Three Gorges area’s ancient classic scenery.
The show will be staged nine times a day through July 15.
Tickets can be purchased through the WeChat subscription account “宜昌文惠卡”. Each ticket is 280 yuan (US$40). Yichang residents can apply for the “文惠卡” to enjoy cultural tourism spending subsidies for ticket purchases.
