A black stork has been spotted in Yichang

A black stork was spotted on a small island in the upper and middle reaches of the Yangtze River in Zhijiang, Yichang.
The black stork is a protected bird in China. It prefers habitats with clear water and abundant food; if the temperature is higher than 18 ℃, the black stork will migrate to the north.
Despite the rising temperature in Yichang, the black stork seems to be enjoying its stay in Zhijiang. This is a sign of the improvements to the ecology of the Yangtze River.
