These scenes were shot along the Zhaxi River in Zigui County, part of the Yichang Three Gorges Reservoir Area, where many migratory birds, such as mallards and bean geese, can be seen.
The locals are very fond of the Zhaxi River, a tributary of the Yangtze, which irrigates their fields. Zigui County is a biodiverse area with many types of plants and fruit, including over 4000 hectares of navel oranges.
