City of forest

Yichang was named a National Forest City in 2012. Yichang Canal Park at the heart of the city has more than 11 hectares of forest areas. It’s home to 8,000 trees of 17 species, 9 varieties of bamboo and more than 20 species of groundcover plants. Come to the park along Dongshan Avenue and have a walk.
