Technologies enhance vegetable farming

Dangyang is embracing agricultural technology to boost the development of high-quality farming. Recently, we were invited to tour one of their high-tech farms.

At the Lovochun Smart Agricultural Industrial Park, the strawberry garden has become a popular attraction for visitors.

Unlike traditional manual strawberry farming, the park uses an intelligent greenhouse management system. It also features an innovative vertical, adjustable hanging system for the strawberry plants. This system can be raised or lowered as needed, saving 40 percent of land compared to traditional planting.

The park also enhances operational efficiency. In the vegetable factory, the entire process — from sowing to harvesting — is fully automated, cutting labor costs by up to 90 percent.
