New York City’s Glow Cultural Center hosted the 2025 Spring Festival Celebration on February 2 in Flushing.
The festivities kicked off before noon with a vibrant cultural bazaar in the Town Hall’s garden and 1st-floor gallery. Hundreds of visitors from diverse backgrounds enjoyed a rich array of traditional Chinese New Year snacks, Hanfu-inspired accessories, and the exquisite craftsmanship of Chinese artisans, including sugar painting, dough figurines, calligraphy, and lantern-making.
Liang Ming, one of the event’s planners, hails from Yichang. As the Program Director of the center and President of Hanfu NYC, she has devoted years to spreading Chinese culture worldwide through the planning and organization of traditional Chinese festivals and cultural events.
