Franklin Wang and Julia Lu, students from Shanghai International Studies University, recently went on a four-day trip to Yichang with Cole Highhouse, a foreign teacher at the school. They documented their journey in a video series called "Francolia in Yichang."
In the second episode, they explored King Ba Palace in the Three Gorges area to learn about Ba Culture and Tujia customs.
The Tribe of the Three Gorges Scenic Area combines the beauty of nature with the vibrant culture of the Tujia Ethnic Group. It is adorned with ancient relics from the Ba people.
During their visit, they enjoyed traditional Tujia music performances and learned about the lifestyle of the Tujia people. Cole had fun trying his hand at Chinese shadow puppetry.
