Hezha (合渣) is a popular home-style dish in the southwestern region of Hubei, including Yichang. It's also known as "lazy tofu" (懒豆腐).
Grind soaked soybeans into soybean paste using a stone mill, boil the paste with water, and mix it with shredded vegetables. Finally, boil it again to create a pot of Hezha.
Hezha can be served as a dish or cooked with potatoes.
