Dine cliffside at Fangweng

Fangweng Restaurant is situated on a cliff directly opposite the Sanyou Cave in Yichang City.

The restaurant draws its name from the fact that Southern Song Dynasty poet Lu You (1125-1210), whose art name is Fangweng, once visited this very spot to drink wine, savor tea and write poems.

Here, visitors can delight in the flavors of fatty fish and sip on the city's renowned black tea, all while taking in stunning views of the entrance to Xiling Gorge.
