Auxiliary police officer averts blast with brave action

An auxiliary policeman in Yichang risked his life to extinguish a burning gas cylinder on February 21.
A liquefied gas cylinder caught fire due to wear and tear on the gas pipe when an elderly woman was cooking at home. In a panic, she dragged the burning cylinder to the middle of a busy road at the front of her home. Thankfully being next to a police station, auxiliary police officer Hu Hao immediately rushed to put out the fire. Despite the risk of an explosion at any moment, he remained calm and covered the cylinder with a wet towel in order to shut it with his hands.
