Infrared cameras catch wild animals in Houhe National Nature Reserve in Yichang foraging for food after the recent snowfall.
Covering a total area of 10,340 hectares, Houhe National Nature Reserve is home to 66 species of protected animals.
Due to the weather, Houhe National Nature Reserve has taken additional measures to protect wildlife, such as increased field patrols and infrared camera monitoring. Reserve staff members will also scatter food for the animals if they see it necessary.
