Finless porpoises seen frolicking in Yangtze River

Along the Yangtze River in Yichang, two finless porpoises were spotted frolicking in the water last Tuesday. The species’ numbers rose to 1,249 in 2022 from 1,012 in 2017, partly due to water quality recovery efforts.
