On September 22, Changyang Tujia Autonomous County proudly launched its renowned Changyang Alpine vegetable brand. The alpine vegetable industry in Changyang originated in 1986 and has since flourished into a significant agricultural sector within the county. With an impressive planting area spanning 500,000 mu (33,333 hectares) and an annual output of 1.5 million tons valued at 3 billion yuan (US$410 million), it has become the largest agricultural industry in Changyang.
In order to further expand its influence and market presence, Changyang aims to introduce the esteemed Changyang Alpine Vegetable brand to various communities as well as wholesale and retail stores across the Yangtze River Delta region.
