Changyang launches vegetable brand

Changyang Tujia Autonomous County launched the Changyang Alpine Vegetables brand on September 22.
Changyang's alpine vegetable industry began in 1986. With a planting area of 500,000 mu, and 1.5 million tons of annual output worth 3 billion yuan (US$410 million), the alpine vegetable industry has grown to be the largest agricultural industry in the county.
In an effort to expand their influence and market size, Changyang has plans to introduce the Changyang Alpine Vegetable brand to different communities as well as wholesale and retail stores in the Yangtze River Delta region.
