Sanlv embroidery was the main attraction for a group of 33 women officials from developing countries when they visited Zigui county, Yichang, for a Social Management Capacity Building Workshop.
This ancient art, tracing its roots back to the Han dynasty, was added to the Yichang Intangible Cultural Heritage list in 2018. Guided by local experts, the international trainees had the opportunity to delve into a unique world of traditional embroidery techniques and exquisite handicraft.
