Attraction of night rafting at Chaotianhou

Chaotianhou Rafting Scenic Area in Xingshan County, Yichang City, is a 4A-rated national scenic spot featuring a 6.5 km-long waterway with a 148m drop. They offer a thrilling rafting experience that is sure to get your adrenaline pumping.

 

In 2022, the Chaotianhou Rafting Scenic Area invested 15 million yuan (US$2.08 million) to illuminate the entire area, becoming the first among more than 50 rafting scenic areas in the province to introduce the new attraction of night rafting.

 

Rafting at night not only allows visitors to escape the scorching sun, but also eliminates the need for sunscreen. In the night, visitors can enjoy the thrills and excitement of rafting while marveling at the night scenery along the route. After rafting, there are also nighttime snacks, barbecue, and ginger tea to be enjoyed. For those who seek rest after a night of fun, there are camper vans and homestays available.
