Yichang firefighters rescue a kitten

At about 8 am on July 4, a driver pulled up at the Wujiagang District Fire and Rescue Brigade of Yichang seeking help.

He told them he had found an injured kitten on the road and tried to help it, but the kitten took fright and hid in the engine compartment of his vehicle.

The firefighters managed to pull the kitten out of the compartment. The driver put the kitten in a cardboard box and took it to the animal rescue station.
