Three Gorges Waterfall Scenic Area is a spectacular, verdant valley with unique cultural traditions. It offers a range of activities including water sports and adventure trips. The 400-hectare area is easily accessible with well-equipped facilities and many parking lots. Its lush mountains, clean water and magnificent scenery welcome tourists from all over the world.
The main waterfall of the Three Gorges Waterfall is 102 meters high and 80 meters wide. Tourists have the opportunity for the unique experience of walking behind the waterfall. The scenic area also has complete and abundant fossils from the Cambrian and Ordovician periods.
Location and Transportation to the Three Gorges Waterfall Scenic Area
From Yichang Sanxia Airport
If you arrive at Yichang Sanxia Airport, take the airport bus to Yichang East Railway Station, then take a taxi to Yiling Passenger Station and transfer to the Three Gorges Waterfall bus. The bus will take you to the Three Gorges Waterfall tourist center.
From Yichang East Railway Station
Take bus B9 from Yichang East Railway Station and arrive at Lvluo Road (绿萝路) Station. Transfer to Bus B100 to Yiling Passenger Station, and then transfer to the Three Gorges Waterfall bus. The bus will take you to the Three Gorges Waterfall tourist center.
