The Yangtze River Night Cruise was launched in Yichang in 2016. The cruise highlights the best views along the Yangtze River.
Departing from the Three Gorges Tourist Center, the journey takes in the shining lights of the Natural Tower, Binjiang Park, Zhenjiang Pavilion, and Gezhouba Dam. Pass through the Gezhouba ship locks and experience the water raising system.

Three Gorges Tourist Center
Upon arrival at the Three Gorges Tourist Center, visitors will enter the pier by purchasing a ticket and showing proof of identity (passports for foreign visitors). Due to the long distance from the security check area to the night cruise ship, it is advised to reserve enough time in advance to board the ship.
The cruise departs at 19:30.
Natural Tower
Built in the Jin Dynasty (266 － 420 AD), the natural tower is famous for the eight-stone carvings of King Kong. The Natural Tower is included in the list of "major historical and cultural sites protected at the national level.”
Yiling Yangtze River Bridge
The main bridge, 936 meters long and 23 meters wide, is a three-tower inverted Y-shaped cable-stayed bridge on the Yangtze River. Its span is the largest among similar bridges.
Moji Mountain
Yichang continues to upgrade its nighttime views. With Moji Mountain lit up in the background, the city comes alive with dancing lights.
Zhenjiang Pavilion
Built in the era of the Kangxi Emperor (1654 – 1722) during the Qing Dynasty, Zhenjiang Pavilion is located on the bank of the Yangtze River, which has served as a watch tower for Yichang flooding for more than 300 years. The Zhenjiang Pavilion is known by locals as “the greatest building of the Yangtze River.”
Gezhouba Ship Lock
Passing through the Gezhouba ship locks and experiencing the rising water is a key part of the journey.
Gezhouba Dam, the first large-scale water control project constructed on the Yangtze River, began operation in 1981.
Huangbaihe Pier
Stop at Huangbaihe Pier at 21:30, and a bus will drive tourists back to the Three Gorges Tourist Center.

If you arrive at Yichang Sanxia Airport, you can take the airport bus to Yichang East Railway Station, and then transfer to bus B1 and arrive at the Wujia District Branch of Yichang Three Gorges Central People's Hospital Station. From there, walk about 375 meters to the Three Gorges Tourist Center.
