Bailihuang Scenic Area

The Bailihuang Scenic Area is an outstanding tourist attraction in Yiling District, about 55 kilometers from urban Yichang. It is a high, wide grassland, covering 42 square kilometers.
At an average altitude of 1,200 meters and with an average summer temperature of 20 degrees Celsius, it is 6 degrees Celsius cooler than the year-round temperature in urban Yichang. This is a great place to escape the summer heat.
The scenic spot has six main tourist attractions. You can go horse riding, do grass skiing and archery, camp and barbecue outside, or do off-road biking or karting. You can even go hang gliding.
