Different kinds of birds have been seen flying between trees and over rivers in Yichang, Hubei province, since the city began efforts in 2018 to improve the ecology of rivers, lakes and grasslands along the Yangtze River. A 232-kilometer green corridor with parks and sightseeing venues has attracted visitors.
