Yichang outdoor sports route recommended by ministries

A 397-kilometer outdoor sports travel route in Yichang City has been recommended by two ministries as “Boutique Routes for Sports Travel of 2022 National Holidays”.

The route, which was among 12 routes recommended jointly by China’s General Administration of Sports and Ministry of Culture and Tourism, covers many national-level scenic areas and offers unique cultural and sports experiences. It is also the only one from Hubei Province to be included.

There are five must-go places along the route: Three Gorges International RV Campsite, Bailihuang Scenic Spot, Yuan’an Taipingding Forest Resort Hotel, Tianlong Bay of Qingjiang River, Sujiahe Moon Bay RV Campsite.

Among them, tourists can experience jungle leap fun at Three Gorges International RV Campsite. Gliding, grass skiing and some equestrian activities are on offer at the Bailihuang Scenic Spot. Tianlong Bay of Qingjiang River is an ideal place for hiking and water sports fans.
