Fourteenth Yangtze River Three Gorges International Tourism Festival Kicked off in Yichang

On September 16, the 14th Yangtze River Three Gorges International Tourism Festival opened in Yichang. At the opening ceremony, a large-scale Yangtze River- themed music, dance, poetry and painting performance of "Shangshan Yangtze River" was held. The performance integrates nature, vastness, and beauty, reflects the soul of the Yangtze River and the beauty of mountains and rivers there, presents the thousand-year-old cultural context of Yichang, and displays the achievements of the protection and development of the Yangtze River.

With the theme of "Green Yangtze River, Magnificent Three Gorges", the main event of this year's tourism festival was held in Yichang from September 16 to 27. During the tourism festival, 18 activities in five categories will be held, including the opening ceremony, music, dance, poetry and painting performances, the 2023 Hubei-Chongqing rotating chairmanship meeting of the Yangtze River Three Gorges Regional Tourism Cooperation, the Ninth Yangtze River Piano Music Festival, the Ninth Hubei Yichang (Yiling) Citrus Festival, Hubei Zhaojun Cultural Tourism Festival, Hubei Dangyang Guangong Cultural Tourism Festival and Guanling Temple Fair, Hubei Qingjiang Open Water Swimming Invitational Competition and the Eighth "Hubei Changyang Qingjiang Gallery" Open Water Swimming Challenge.
