Global photo & video collection event starts today in Yichang

Yichang is calling for high-quality image works from all around the globe to promote communication and mutual understanding between the city and the world as the first "Yichang, Calling the World" image collection event officially begins on May 10.
Everyone has the ability to be a creator and recorder of life with their own unique perspective. This event is open to people from all over the world, as long as they have once lived in Yichang and have photos and videos of memorable moments related to the city.
What We're Looking For:
The works should showcase unique tourism opportunities, traditional culture, authentic food, and local customs. People, things, events, and scenery... As long as there is a connection with Yichang, you are invited to pick up your camera to capture it and send it in.
Photos and videos are both welcomed. Both color or black and white photos will do.
Awards and Prizes:
Once adopted, the work will be paid for and displayed to a global audience through a variety of media and platforms. In addition, the organizers of the event will select several outstanding Yichang Global Shooters for the year.

When submitting your works, please include a title, a short description up to 50 words, the name of the photographer and contact details.
The Rules:
All submissions must be genuine and not edited or manipulated. Adjustments to tone and color are permitted, as well as composition and cropping.
Submissions may consist of a single photo or a series of photos. Series of photos will be counted as a single submission.
For videos including dubbed audio, the language may be either Chinese, English, or the photographer's native language.
All submissions must be clear, coherent and well-focused, and must not contain any logos or watermarks.
Please keep the original file of your submission. If your photo or video is selected for publication, the original file will be required.

Opening remarks:
"Hello everyone, I'm ______ from ______, and now I'm in ______, ______. I'd like to introduce you to the city of ______."
The introduction should be around 20 seconds long and can focus on themes such as tourism, culture, food, etc. The language used in the introduction is not limited to those mentioned above and can express relevant meaning.
Shoot images related to the theme, such as tourism resources to introduce the geographical location, landscape features, the actual tourists, etc., or local cuisine to introduce the historical origins, selection of ingredients, practices, taste, etc. This can be done through narration or subtitles.
At the end of the film, the filmmaker may choose to include their best wishes for Yichang or how much they miss their hometown (optional - about 20 seconds).

1.The submissions must not contain any pornography, violence, or reactionary elements, and should comply with the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China.
2.The author of the submission owns the copyright and enjoys the right of authorship. By submitting their work to the collection event, the author agrees that the host and organizers have the right to use their work for non-commercial purposes, and can authorize any third party to use their work for non-commercial purposes in cultural activities or cultural products, including but not limited to exhibitions, screenings, publications, posters and photo album designs, and promotional videos. The host also has the right to recommend the works to related media.
