Water tourism in Yichang is extremely popular during the five-day May Day holiday

During the five-day May Day holiday, 22 passenger ships and 12,000 visitors passed through Three Gorges Hub, up 2.67 times and 31 times from a year ago respectively; 67 passenger ships and 47,000 visitors passed through Gezhouba Hub, up 2.2 times and 12 times respectively, the Three Gorges Navigation Authority said yesterday.
The ship lift of Three Gorges Dam passed 3,604 tourists on May 2, setting a record high for the number of passengers passed in a single day.
