"May Day Celebration" fireworks display in Yichang

A "May Day Celebration" fireworks display was held on the banks of the Yangtze River in Yichang City yesterday night. The city’s skyscrapers and its iconic river were lit up by the glow, a spectacular sight for the May Day holiday.
On the 2,000-meter section of the river between the Yichang-Wanzhou Railway Bridge and the Yiling Yangtze River Bridge, 85,000 rounds of safe, ecological fireworks bloomed in the night sky. The 8-kilometer viewing area along the river was packed with cheering crowds.
The fireworks lasted for 20 minutes. It was the biggest-ever May Day fireworks display in the history of Yichang.
