Yichang's landmark Qu Yuan Book Mall officially opens

Today is World Book Day and the Yichang Xinhua Bookstore, Qu Yuan Book Mall, officially opens. Located in Xiling District of Yichang City, Qu Yuan Book Mall has an area of 5,300 square meters, with nine functional areas and 12 themed areas, all of which take their names from Qu Yuan's poem "The Lyrics of Chu.”
Qu Yuan (340 B.C. – 278 B.C.) was one of the greatest poets in ancient China and was born and raised in Yichang.
In addition to books and creative cultural products, the store provides many other amenities, such as cafés, a bakery, a digital video store and an education training center. It has become the largest cultural and reading service center in Yichang.
