2022 China Junior Paddleboard Championship kicks off in Zhijiang

The 2022 China Junior Paddleboard Championship began Saturday in Zhijiang, with 223 paddleboarders from all over the country taking part.

There will be three events over the two days of competition: a 200-meter speed race, a 500-meter skill race, and a 3000-meter long-distance race for participants of different ages.

Paddleboarding is becoming a trendy water sport in China, with the number of paddleboarders growing rapidly.

With its splendid river and lake resources, Zhijiang is an excellent venue for the event. The sight of paddleboarders speeding across the water will encourage more people to embrace the sport and join in the fitness campaign.

More than 40 national fitness events are held in sports-mad Zhijiang every year, with more than 100,000 people taking part.
