Rapeseed Flower Festival offers endless entertainment

Locals can enjoy the beauty of spring at Juanqiao River Wetland Park during the Rapeseed Flower Festival, opened on March 26. 

 

The festival is not only about admiring the beautiful flowers, but multiple activities were designed to create a colorful weekend of festivities, including dance, the art of face-changing during a Sichuan Opera, live shows featuring traditional dress of the Han Chinese people, and Intangible Cultural Heritage displays. 

 

Visitors can rub rapeseed petals under the guidance of professional teachers,and experience flowers transformed into the paint. The park also provides various materials for visitors to make their own kites.

 

A concert was held was held in the field with colorful performances by local performers and impromptu singing by visitors on site.

 

In addition, organizers also prepared interactive games such as stove-boiled tea and ring toss, allowing visitors to experience a fancy tour along with a fantastic view and delicious food.
