Sanxia airport's expanded T1 to fully operate soon
The Yichang Sanxia Airport renovation project just passed the industry acceptance, which was conducted by the CAAC Central and Southern Regional Administration and Hubei Supervision Bureau.
Industry Acceptance Summary Conference
According to the renovation plan, the T1 terminal will be expanded, with a construction area of 16,458 square meters, improving the facilities for border control and customs. It is expected that the Yichang Sanxia Airport can guarantee an annual international passenger throughput of 500,000.
Four professional groups assessed the project, making sure it has met the national and industrial standards in aspects including civil aviation engineering and special equipment, air security, technological process and emergency medical care, and data files.
