Yichang looks to recruit

A job fair was held at the Three Gorges Human Resources Market in Yichang on January 8. More than 1,200 people took part and more than half of them succeeded in finding a job.
60 firms – such as Brunp Recycling Technology, Cornex New Energy, Angel Yeast, Hubei Xingfa Chemicals Group – were present at the fair.
These companies were offering nearly 5,000 jobs in a range of sectors – manufacturing, services, finance, real estate, chemicals, and new energy. The average monthly salary on offer was over 5,000 yuan (USD 740) with some jobs topping 10,000 yuan.
A job seeker Mr. Dong said that he decided to return to Yichang from Wuhan this year. He targeted a number of new energy enterprises that have settled in Yichang in recent years.
"I submitted resumes to companies like Brunp Recycling Technology and Cornex New Energy. They can offer me a salary almost the same ascompanies in Wuhan," Dong said.
“Spring Employment Action" usually begins after the Spring Festival with job fairs running until the end of March.
For this year’s “Spring Employment Action”, Yichang plans to hold 100 different employment activities, and find employment for more than 15,000 people.
Yichang’s economy continues to thrive. In the first 11 months of 2022, the city signed off on more than 1,000 new projects worth almost 800 billion yuan.
