The local itinerary includes visits to the Three Gorges Dam and Qu Yuan's hometown, followed by a Yangtze River cruise to view the Three Gorges Dam, the Gezhouba Dam, and the Three Gorges. Participants will return home on the same train.

This special train, unlike regular ones, runs exclusively for this senior tourist group, traveling from Changchun through Guilin City in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Zhuhai City in Guangdong Province, Jiujiang City in Jiangxi Province, before reaching Yichang. It allows passengers from the northeast to experience the early spring of South China.

“Traveling on this chartered train is a carefree and comfortable experience, with staff handling luggage, meals, and the itinerary," said Liu Yuanchao, a traveler on the train.

To meet the unique needs of elderly passengers, the train offers on-board doctors and provides easily digestible, nutritious meals to ensure safety and comfort, explained Duan Yi, manager of Hubei Xiazhou International Travel Agency.

This year, the Yichang Train Service Department has served 48 groups totaling nearly 20,000 senior tourists from various regions, setting a new record.
