The scenic course wound through urban streets, highlighting Zhijiang's natural beauty and vibrant cityscape. Spectators lined the route, cheering on runners with traditional performances, including waist drums and dragon dances.
After an intense competition, Wu Ling from Wuhan came in first with a time of 1 hour and 19 minutes. Xiong Siyao from Wuhan and Quan Li from Xiangyang took second and third place, respectively. Following the race, participants indulged in local delicacies like pork buns and peach preserves.
"Zhijiang's stunning scenery and warm hospitality made this race unforgettable," said Wu. The event is expected to attract over 20,000 tourists.
